I am looking for some good basketball books, and I thought I could compile a good list here. What are your favorites? I appreciate your input.

Re:Basketball books - 2008/03/14 20:03 For fundamental skills I like Sidney Goldstein's Basketball Player's Bible and Basketball Coach's Bible. They teach fundamental in an easy to understand way.

Re:Basketball books - 2008/03/27 16:35 Not really a basketball book, but one that I just started and already love is, Wooden: A lifetime of observations and reflections on and off the court

Re:Basketball books - 2008/03/29 02:04 I just received that one as a gift and read it straight though. I'll need to reread to get the ideas out of it. I like it. Have you read any other of Wooden's books? If so, how do you rate them?

Re:Basketball books - 2008/03/29 05:20 The new book, "You haven't taught until they've learned" is one of the top five books I have read pertaining to coaching. I also like Practical Modern Basketball and They Call Me Coach, but "You haven't taught" is by far the best.

Re:Basketball books - 2008/04/16 14:10 I've just finished reading 'You Haven't Taught..' and I agree - it's excellent. 'Wooden on Leadership' is also pretty good.
